Hey everyone!
I am super excited to announce that I’ll be heading out to Ramallah, West Bank during April and May in 2022, as a volunteer for SkatePal. Originally this was planned for September 2020, but unfortunately the global pandemic put a stop to that trip!
It’s no secret that Skateboarding has changed my life, so I want to use this amazing opportunity to help change other peoples lives too!
SkatePal is a non-profit organisation that works with communities throughout Palestine to enhance the lives of young people and promote the benefits of skateboarding.
More than half of all Palestinians living in the occupied territories are under 21 years old. Yet for many young people across the West Bank and Gaza, cultural, educational and sporting opportunities are severely limited.
I’ll be helping SkatePal with all the the amazing work they do, including delivering regular skate coaching sessions.
Of course, not only will I be volunteering my time and skills, but I’m raising money for the amazing charity too! So, please donate what you can, if you can. If you can’t – no worries! Just sharing this link would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.
