SHANKO'S SKATE SCHOOL

Thanks to the amazing Girls Who Grind Coffee coming in as our skate barn sponsor, this years Camp VC was the best EVER! A new location, a new skin on the ramp and an entirely new flat ground are in our skate barn – we couldn’t have asked for more!

Girls Who Grind Coffee really came in with the support and blew all of the previous Camp VC’s skate barns out of the water. The sponsorship provided us with the first ever flat ground section, meaning we could host more lessons, sessions and even add in a little rail! Our new skate barn was the stuff of dreams, and it seriously cemented us as one of the main features of this years Camp VC – ABSOLUTE GOALS!!!

Thanks to the amazing upgrade we were able to run mini ramp sessions, alongside flat ground sessions, allowing us to double our lesson capacity from previous years.
We hosted beginners lessons, advanced sessions and targeted sessions! Such as hippy jump class, drop-in class, flat ground trick sessions, the lot! Here’s a few of the snaps from our sessions including some of the gals that came along.

We also had a really wholesome skate jam on the Saturday night where everyone sent it and the support was next level!! Here’s all the rad gals that got involved, a big thanks to all those who came along to watch and support, and an even more special thanks to everyone who donated prizes: Girls Who Grind Coffee, Stories and Ink, Monkey Shoulder, Muc-Off and Herald Motor Company! We love and appreciate you 🙂
